Booking & Cancellaton Policy

Bookings:

Spaces on my events and programmes are limited and therefore must be pre-booked and pre-paid. Spaces are only confirmed upon payment.

Before committing to a programme or event, please ensure you can attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme. If you are concerned about the possibility of needing to cancel your event, I highly recommend you postpone booking or take out cancellation insurance.

To get the most from each session, please arrive a few minutes early to prepare yourself and notify me of anything that might be pertinent to the session (e.g. injury, pregnancy, loss). To avoid disrupting the group, late arrivals may not be allowed to join a class, or asked to wait until an appropriate time in the schedule.

Cancellations:

Things happen and sometimes plans change. I aim to accommodate unforeseen changes as best I can by setting out fair terms for booking and cancellations – allowing you time to change your mind. I make the cancellation and refund policy transparent and visible – ensuring it’s available before booking, at the time of booking and also on your receipt confirmation – so you can make an informed decision. Please take time to read this carefully.

To help keep events (and my livelihood!) viable, these policies are firm.  With regret, I cannot offer refunds or rollovers or transfers outside of these terms, including if you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, work/family changes, pregnancy or other reasons. I politely request you don't ask to be an exception.

Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Please take time to read this carefully.

In the event I need to cancel an event:

you will receive a full refund for the price of your booking only, or the option of being transferred to another workshop or a credit for a future event. In the event I am ill, every attempt will be made to find a replacement teacher.

In the event YOU need to cancel an event:

provided you have notified us within the cancellation window (see above), you can receive a refund (less deposit or admin fee), or the option of being transferred to another workshop or a credit for a future events. Refunds and transfers can't be offered outside of the cancellation window.

Transfer to Another Student

By You – If you wish to cancel outside of the cancellation window, no refund will be available but you may pass your booking on to a friend at no additional cost (please arrange payment between you). I must be notified via email if a friend will attend in your place.

By Me – If the event is full and I can find someone on the waitlist to take your place, I will offer you a refund less a 20% admin fee, or a credit for future bookings – valid for 1 year.

Leaving an Event or Program

my aim is to facilitate clients and students who may be experiencing difficulties either with the event or in other areas of their life, so they are able to complete the event. However, I understand in some circumstances this is not possible, and you may feel you have no choice other than to leave a course or programme. In this instance, with regret, I am unable to issue a certificate of completion or graduate you from the training, and your event fees cannot be refunded.

My Availability

in the event where I am unavailable due to illness or an emergency, an alternative teacher will be arranged wherever possible. For retreats, I strongly recommend participants have adequate insurance to cover any cancelled travel or personal expenses, as I cannot make reimbursements over and above our cancellation policy.

Deposit and Balance

for some events such as retreats or longer programmes, I offer the option to pay a deposit to secure your place, with a balance payment later to make it more doable financially.

All deposits are non-refundable. The balance payment must be received before or on the due date as agreed. After this time, it's assumed you no longer want the place and it will be offered to someone else.
