The Gap Between Knowing and Doing
The Gap Between Knowing and Doing
Why you keep talking yourself out of what you know , and how to start moving forward

Event Details
A free live workshop for women who are fed up knowing something needs to change, and still finding themselves in the same place. We'll look at why you can feel absolutely clear one day and talk yourself out of it the next – and how to hear what matters underneath those competing voices, so you can take a grounded next step without waiting for absolute certainty. And no, that doesn't mean making one enormous brave decision or blowing up the bits of your life you still want. Maybe it’s the conversation you need to have, the boundary you need to set, or finally making some room for yourself instead of always coming last. Or perhaps the question is bigger – whether to stay or go, romantically, geographically or professionally. Different circumstances, but the same frustrating gap between what you know and what you actually do. You know the loop. Something happens and you're absolutely clear: “ENOUGH. I can't keep living like this. Something HAS to change.” And you mean it. You talk, journal, research, make plans. Look at jobs, campervans, Chat GPT into early hours. THIS TIME you're going to do something. Then the pressure lifts + things settle down. And another voice appears “Maybe it's not actually THAT bad? Maybe now isn't the right time. Maybe I need to think a little longer.” So you carry on. Until next time. And round you go. Sometimes for YEARS. Because perhaps nothing IS that bad. But you don't want another ten years of THIS either. You don't want to blow up the parts of your life that still matter. But you don't want to keep talking yourself out of what isn't working – waiting until you're certain, or until it gets bad enough that you can't ignore it. There's a whole world between blowing your life up and staying as you are. That's the gap we're going to work with. We'll explore: • why knowing isn't always enough to create change • what happens between “ENOUGH” and “maybe it's not that bad” • how to listen to the different voices pulling you in opposite directions • how to take a grounded next step without waiting for absolute certainty BRING SOMETHING REAL Bring one thing you've been circling – a conversation, boundary, decision, change, or something you keep promising yourself you'll start or stop. You'll work with it privately during the workshop. No pressure to share – observing is welcome too. 60-minute live workshop + optional 15 minutes live coaching. Coaching won't be recorded, so we can keep that part private.
